The international film registry was founded by filmmakers
as a liberal, specialised, and organised repository for films from every culture.
Through our systematic approach, we ensure that all filmmakers and all countries stand out
as equal members of the international creative family.
As fellow filmmakers, we prefer to widen the field by
including music video, commercials, and rarified forms like video art and interactive film,
because every genre is a very important representation of our magical artform.
Our dedicated approach adds to the brilliant work of the major film streaming sites
by sharing our dedicated audiences with them.
We believe that our approach will help stop the loss of film heritage in poorer countries,
due to financial constrains and other socio-political factors.
